Happyhouse Stories
In an ideal situation, we would all live in a happy house that we shared with family, awesome roommates or enjoyed entirely by ourselves. This happy house would of course be spotless and smell of fresh baked cookies constantly.
Life however, throws at us a number of unexpected circumstances that can become an unmanageable burden causing total chaos in our once sanctuary. Our homes can become disorganized and neglected because our focus is on something else that is far more urgent.
Sometimes the cause of this chaos and disruption can be one identifiable event. But more often it is something more insidious, that over time, caused quite a mess.
The one suffering in this situation is usually overwhelmed with the tyranny of the urgent and needs a little help in sorting things out so that home, can once again, be their sanctuary.
Happyhouse702 would like to offer our professional cleaning and organizing skills to someone in our community who could really use the gift of house cleaning. Something as simple as a spring cleaning can help restore a little peace-of-mind and lift someone’s spirits. It’s an act of love through service. And a deep cleaning is a like a hug for a house and all those who live in it.
Each month we will humbly read your stories about someone who you think could really use a whole house hug and why. The story can be about anyone you want to write about, including yourself. Every month we will choose one story and do our very best to help in that home by providing a professional house cleaning. Our goal is to go where we think we can help.
Please submit your stories by clicking on the current month of the year, and then post your story under Comments. If your story isn’t chosen that month, you are welcome to submit it again the following months.
Thank you for sharing your stories and trusting them with us.
